*** Hello AQISpy Users,
This weekend I learned that the data provider for the Air Quality data to the app, PurpleAir, has decided to no longer provide their air quality data for free. The cost of the data is prohibitively expensive for a small app like AQISpy and I have made the difficult decision to shut down the app.
Effective Monday August 28th, 2023, the App will no longer be available for new Users on the Apple and Android stores. Existing Users will be able to use the app until PurpleAir stops providing free data sometime in mid to late September.
Over the past several years I have especially enjoyed hearing your stories and learning how you have used the app in various parts of the United States and Mexico. I hope that you will continue to keep informed about the air you breathe and wish you all the healthiest life you can live.
